Our Mission

Casa Para Las Naciones / House For The Nations is a caring community of faith in Roanoke, Virginia that welcomes individuals from all walks of life. CANA Virginia is a multicultural church, where language is not a barrier, but a beautiful experience to learn from every culture. A place of guidance, help and love where Christ is the center and and glorified. Our mission is to reflect the Kingdom of God in all we do, from worship, praise, teaching and studying the Word of God. We strive to create disciples of every nation, every tribe and every tongue. God’s desire for His people is to be one so others see the light of God in us.

We are a place of restoration!

 

Our church family has many spiritual gifts, love and a heart for our Lord Jesus Christ. We welcome you to join our family, and invite you each Sunday for a time of praise, fellowship and contemplation as we celebrate our Savior and explore the mysteries of faith.

Pastora Jeannette Arroyo-Colon, MMFT

Lead Pastor

Pastora Jeannette has been in ministry since she was 16 years of age. She obtained her degree is Christian Education at Mizpa College, where she also received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, with a Concentration in Management and a minor in Marketing. She earned her Master Degree in Counseling (Marriage and Couples Therapy) from Phoenix University in 2005 and is currently a third year Doctoral Student of Christian Leadership Education. 

Pastor Jeannette and her husband of 17 years, Carlos A. Colon, have experienced God's miracles first-hand, including her two precious children Eisen Alexander and Dalyana Ebel. Since 2013, she served as lead pastor for the Hispanic congregation at New Life Christian Ministries. In February 2021, she departed to pursue God's calling for her to begin a multicultural church, where she and her faithful team can help fulfill the Great Commission, leading others to Jesus Christ.

Compositor Carlos Colon

Worship Leader

Compositor Carlos Colon has managed more than 140 musical productions, during which recording approximately 1,000 songs. He has written over 4,000 songs during his 43 years in ministry, including well known songs "You Live (I Know He Lives)", "The Manger", "Great Artist", "The Potter", "God Came to See You" and "Holy Holy". He is the winner of the Lyra de PR festival for 12 ovations (winning song and best composition), recipient of tribute at the Center of Fine Arts in San Juan PR (1986), recipient of Tito Lara Awards (1999) and national recognition for the years of ministry in the year (2006) writer of the song "Alma Mater (Unilimi). Along with wife Pastora Jeannette, he visualizes a powerful church in all facets, fulfilling the glorious task of reaching souls for Jesus Christ.
